At D.G. Wassmus, we are dedicated to finding new ways to support and give back to our community. When we were in the process of obtaining a demolition permit, the city of Venice informed us that the local fire department might be interested in using the house slated for demolition as a training site. We promptly reached out to Venice Fire Department and arranged a meeting with Assistant Chief Hartley to discuss the opportunity. Through this collaboration, we built a strong and positive relationship with him and offered the house for their training exercises prior to demolition. The fire department was very appreciative of the unique training chance, and we were equally pleased to be able to assist them and contribute to public safety efforts.
